Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that more than 6,000 residents of the Shebekinsky District are in temporary accommodation centers (TACs). They were evacuated due to regular shelling from Ukraine.
“Now there are more than six thousand people in temporary accommodation centers. In total, there are 47 TAPs in the region in 10 districts and districts of the region. Today I came to one of the TACs in the city of Belgorod to see how the residents were accommodated and to congratulate them on the Day of Russia,” the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also mentioned shortcomings in the work of the TAP, including the formation of applications, the provision of essential goods and medicines. It is entrusted to correct the situation to the Minister of Social Protection of the Population Elena Batanova and the Minister of Health of the region Andrey Ikonnikov.
Shelling in areas of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine has intensified over the past few weeks. Residents are evacuated to TAPs, children are taken to summer camps in the regions of Russia. In the current situation, Vyacheslav Gladkov recommended create “permanent jobs” at each temporary accommodation facility. Those who left their residential buildings are entitled to a one-time payment of 10 thousand rubles.
