Gladkov announced a massive drone attack on the Belgorod region

On the night of May 24, the Belgorod region was subjected to a massive drone attack. As a result, there is damage, but there were no casualties, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

“The night didn’t go well. There have been a large number of drone attacks. Most of the air defense systems were dealt with, but there are damages in Belgorod, in the Borisovsky district, in the Belgorod district: cars, private houses, office buildings. <...> The most important thing is that there are no casualties at all.” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.

Gladkov added that there was a fire on the gas pipeline in the Grayvoron district. The cause of damage to the object is established. According to the governor, Bezymeno and the pig farm are disconnected from the gas, and the operation of the gas pipeline will be restored within 24 hours. In addition, today, May 24, the completion of work on the restoration of electrical networks damaged as a result of attacks Ukrainian saboteurs.

Currently, nine people are in hospitals, three of them are in serious condition. More than 550 people evacuated from the Grayvoron District remain in temporary accommodation centers. They will be able to return home after the security forces clear the territory, Gladkov added.
