Giorgi Ugrekhelidze from Sochi won bronze at the All-Russian Judo Competitions

Representatives of the Krasnodar Territory won 8 awards at the All-Russian judo competitions. The tournament in memory of Yakub Koblev was held in July on the territory of the capital of Adygea. More than 100 judokas from 19 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.

Harun Tlishev from Armavir became the triumphant of the competition in the weight up to 60 kilograms. David Hovhannisyan from Armavir became the second in the weight up to 100 kilograms. Daniil Nemchenko from Tuapse, Eduard Solopona from Anapa, Timur Izhaev from Labinsk municipality, Giorgiy Ugrekhilidze from Sochi, Ruslan Ramazanov from Krasnodar and Eduard Muradyan from Armavir took bronze in their weight categories.

The Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kuban, Serafim Timchenko, emphasized that these competitions are an opportunity to honor the memory of the legendary mentor. Also, the tournament is a great way to test the skills of experienced and beginner judokas before other starts.
