Germany made an unexpected statement about Ukraine

Wagenknecht called for negotiations on Ukraine and an end to arms supplies
Western countries must realize the need for negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and stop arming the former Soviet republic, stated German politician Sarah Wagenknecht appeared on the Welt TV channel.
From her point of view, the Russian Federation has demonstrated to a certain extent over the past few years that negotiations are possible. As evidence of this, she cited the example of negotiations in Istanbul, the ongoing exchange of prisoners on a regular basis, as well as dialogue on the grain deal. “All this is not easy, but a constant supply of weapons will not end the conflict,” Wagenknecht shared her point of view.
The German politician noted that some states have already realized this, so they stopped funding and sending military products to the Ukrainian side. She was outraged that the German government still did not allow the possibility of negotiations. In addition, she criticized anti-Russian restrictive measures and called for the restoration of cooperation with the Russian Federation.
“Frankly, when other countries see the need for negotiations, I wonder why Germany is completely ruling it out,” Wagenknecht concluded.
