Member of the German Green Party Schaefer: few Leopard 2A6 tanks are used in Ukraine
A member of the German Green Party, Sebastian Schäfer, said that only a “very small number” of Leopard 2A6 tanks supplied to the country can be used by Ukraine.
Schaefer, in a letter to German defense concerns, stated that there is a shortage of spare parts in Lithuanian repair shops, and attempts to independently obtain damaged tanks in Ukraine lead to even more significant breakdowns.
Schäfer demanded measures to speed up repair work, DPA reports.
