The use of German long-range Taurus missiles on Russian territory would effectively be a “declaration of war.” This statement was made by Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht in an interview with the Rheinische Post.
“If German cruise missiles hit targets in Russia, this is actually a declaration of war. There is a border, and, probably, Taurus missiles are the border, crossing which you become a participant in the conflict,” said the German politician, commenting on the position of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz regarding supplies Ukraine Taurus missiles.
In addition, Wagenknecht added that the Ukrainian conflict is not related to the existence of the country, but to the potential entry of the state into the North Atlantic Alliance.
