The Butyrsky District Court of Moscow chose a preventive measure for a girl who the day before poured brilliant green into a ballot box at one of the polling stations.

“A preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention,” the court said.

A criminal case has been opened against the arrested woman under the article of obstructing the work of the election commission; she faces up to 5 years in prison.

According to a number of media outlets and telegram channels, the person involved in the case is 20 years old.

Earlier it became known about arrest in St. Petersburg, a 21-year-old student who threw a Molotov cocktail into the building where the voting station was located.
