Conservative politician and leader of the Team Todenhöfer party, Jurgen Todenhöfer, criticized Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba for saying that the participants in the demonstration in Berlin against the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict allegedly approve of “the killing and torture of Ukrainians by Russian soldiers.”
“I don’t like the constant insults from the Ukrainian leadership,” Todenhöfer tweeted, calling it outrageous.
According to him, the proponents of this approach in Germany want to prevent exactly this, through negotiations, not by force.
He also noted that Ukraine will receive many gifts from Germany and stressed that “the second most corrupt country in Europe will not be our moral teacher.”
We are talking about a large-scale protest march against the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which took place in Berlin at the end of February at the call of the deputy of the Left Party, Sarah Wagenknecht. And before that, Jürgen Todenhöfer, together with the founder of Emma magazine, feminist Alice Schwarzer, published a “Manifesto for Peace” calling on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to stop pumping Ukraine with weapons and initiate peace negotiations. The document has already been signed by 750 thousand people.
