German expert: Germany has no voice of its own

Germany actually does not have its own right to vote in solving European problems, said Richard Werner, professor of economics and geopolitics from Germany.
According to him, the reasons for the current economic downturn were the fact that “the Europeans themselves imposed import bans on themselves,” and they are trying to blame Russia for this.
“Unfortunately, our country does not have its own voice,” he said.
Werner also commented on the possible departure of German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht from her post.
According to him, the problems of the German Ministry of Defense began in the 2010s. Werner said Lambrecht’s resignation would be one link in a series of problems.
“Dissatisfaction with the work of Lambrecht has been accumulating for a long time. For almost a year, voices have been heard calling for her to resign. Facts were also accumulated that worked against her: for example, her speeches, in which she gave incorrect numbers of weapons transferred to Ukraine and gave incorrect information about future deliveries,” he said.
