GERB party wins elections in Bulgaria

In the early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, after counting 99.03% of the protocols, the party of the ex-premier of the republic, Boyko Borisov, GERB, is leading.
According to the CEC, the coalition of GERB and the Union of Democratic Forces (SDF) won 25.43% of the vote. The party “Continue Changes” of the resigned Prime Minister Kiril Petkov received 20.21% of the ballots.
He left his post along with the cabinet as a result of the government crisis at the end of June. A new government was not formed.
In 2021, early parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria three times. But according to their results, it was not possible to create a cabinet of ministers. The government coalition appeared only after the elections in November.
The other day it became known that the head of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov refused Ukraine in the supply of heavy weapons. He recalled that the parliament of the republic allowed only military-technical assistance.
