For example, if an analogue is added to expensive buckwheat honey, but only obtained from sunflower fields, or cow’s milk is added to goat’s milk, then this is a falsification. There are more egregious examples. So, cases were revealed when only 20% of the meat of this turkey turned out to be in the turkey sausage. But this is not the limit of violations. “There is also a complete substitution: for example, when there is no rabbit in sausages made from rabbit meat,” Minaev said. “Expensive meat is being replaced by cheap, chicken and pork.”

There is a way to protect yourself from buying fake products. According to the expert, if the package says “made according to GOST”, then such a product is most likely not falsified.
