General Bondarev: Ukraine’s planned counteroffensive is doomed to failure

The head of the Defense Committee of the Federation Council, ex-Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Colonel-General Viktor Bondarev wrote on his Telegram channel that Ukrainian propagandists are bluffing, spreading reports that “the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed to the teeth”, and the territory of Ukraine is reliably protected.
The senator added that in fact this is not the case, and in many areas they have “gaps”.
In particular, the general noted that the Pentagon is caused by the lack of air defense systems in Kyiv, as well as the rapid reduction of artillery stocks.
“The counteroffensive, which Zelensky is now so intensively preparing, is doomed to failure,” Bondarev expressed confidence, adding that Kiev has no more correct way out than “initiating the negotiation process as soon as possible.”
