The head of the Russian delegation at the negotiations in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov, in a conversation with journalists, reproached Western countries for their reluctance to acknowledge the risks of the leakage of weapons transferred to Kyiv to extremists.
In his opinion, such a position could lead to the fact that “the whole world could find itself at the point of a Western gun.”
“NATO and EU countries consistently ignore the threat of modern high-precision weapons falling into the hands of national radicals, terrorists and extremists not only in Ukraine, but also beyond its borders,” Gavrilov said.
He added that, against the backdrop of high risks for international security, such a policy can be equated “to the condoning of terrorist activities by Western countries.”
