Gasoline production in Russia in the week from March 25 to March 31 increased by 2.7% compared to the previous week, according to published data Rosstat. Production volume amounted to 775 thousand tons. Diesel fuel production decreased by 1.8%, to 1.6 million tons.

On February 29, the government introduced a ban on gasoline exports from March 1 to August 31 in order to maintain stability in the fuel market during a period of increased demand. Prior to this, the export ban was introduced in September 2023.
