Garcia defeated Sobolenko to win the WTA Finals

French tennis player Caroline Garcia defeated Arina Sobolenko from Belarus in the final of the WTA Finals. The match, which took place in Fort Worth (USA, Texas), ended with the score 7:6 (7:4), 6:4.
Garcia and Sabolenko are sixth and seventh in the WTA rankings, respectively. The 29-year-old Frenchwoman has 11 victories in association tournaments, the 24-year-old Belarusian has 10 WTA titles.
In doubles competition the winners are Russian Veronika Kudermetova and Belgian Elise Mertens. In the final, they defeated the first and fourth rackets of the world in doubles Katerina Sinyakova and Barbora Kreychikov from the Czech Republic.
