Ganchev: Armed Forces of Ukraine left Sinkovka near Kupyansk due to active actions of the Russian army

The Russian army is taking active steps in the Kupyansk region, against this background, the Ukrainian armed forces (AFU) left Sinkovka near the city. This was announced by the head of the Russian-controlled military-civilian administration of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev, transmits “RIA News”.

“Russian servicemen are already defeating the enemy on the outskirts of Kupyansk. Particularly active actions are now unfolding in the area of ​​the village of Sinkovka,” he said. According to Ganchev, there are no Ukrainian soldiers in the village anymore.

Later, on the air of Rossiya 24, the official clarified that 33 settlements in the Kharkiv region are under Russian control. At the same time, the administration has access to only 17 of them. The rest of the settlements remain under the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he explained.

Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense announced an improvement in the positions of the Russian military in the Kupyansk direction. Per day Armed Forces (AF) of Russia reflected four enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkovka and Novoselovsky (LPR).

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting offensive operations since the beginning of June. The Kremlin has repeatedly stated about the lack of success of the Ukrainian army and pointed to the heavy losses of the enemy.

At the same time, Russian troops are advancing in the Kupyansk direction. Against the backdrop of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian authorities announced about the evacuation in the Kyiv-controlled Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region. Formerly Ganchev saidthat the Russian military had to go “a few kilometers” to Kupyansk.
