According to Gunzburg, information about the drug can be found on the portal of the state register of medicines. Vaccination “Gam-covid-vak-d” will take place in two stages.
The source says that Gam-covid-vac-d is a combinatorial vector vaccine consisting of two doses of 0.5 ml each. The shelf life of the drug is 15 months.
Earlier, Alexander Gunzburg said that the Center began developing a vaccine that will protect against new strains of coronavirus.
According to Gunzburg, the vaccine will be against variants with the letter X – XBB and XBV.1.5 (“kraken”). The director of the SIC is not sure how fast the new strain will spread, but expressed confidence that “the vaccine must be made quickly.”
