Gagin: Ukrainian Armed Forces are grouping forces on the outskirts of Artemovsk

Adviser to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Jan Gagin, in an interview with Russian journalists, spoke about the ongoing fighting in the vicinity of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut).
According to him, the tense situation persists in the area of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka and Andreevka.
“In the Artemovsky direction, the enemy is grouping quite large forces and does not stop attacking. The battles for Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka, Andreevka are still going on,” Gagin said.
He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are targeting these settlements not by chance, as they are convenient springboards for further attacks by Artemivsk.
“Part of the heights in the Kleshcheevka area are occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy is firing from there on the approaches to Artemovsk … Our Aerospace Forces will solve this problem,” Gagin expressed confidence.
