Funding for the Vologda project “People’s Trainer” will increase by more than a third

The regional project “People’s Trainer” was launched in the Vologda region in 2021. Thanks to him, residents of the region can play sports for free under the supervision of a professional mentor. Classes are held in more than 50 types of physical activity.
The number of program participants this year is close to seven thousand people. About 200 mentors are national trainers, of which 68 are funded bets. It was decided to develop the program further. In 2024, it was decided to increase funding for the project by more than a third. This will increase the number of bets for sports coaches to 94. The amount of funding will increase by 7.8 million rubles and reach almost 29 million rubles in 2024.
