FSB searched Demushkin’s house in the case of calls for activities against state security

FSB officers this morning searched the home of the nationalist and ex-organizer of the Russian Marches, Dmitry Demushkin. According to his Telegram channel, the nationalist is suspected of calling for activities directed against the security of the state (part 3 of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Dmitry is in conversation. At 6 am, officers of the Federal Security Service came and conducted a search. The warrant was issued by a judge of the Moscow City Court at the request of the Major General of the FSB. As reported in words, the basis is suspicion of treason. The documents say 3. Art. 280.4,” according to Telegram.
Dmitry Demushkin’s lawyer, Oleg Kolesnikov, said that the search was related to videos that he posted on YouTube.
After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, Dmitry Demushkin criticized the fighting. In the Telegram channel, he wrote that because of the military conflict, “Russia is dying out.”
From 2017 to 2019, Dmitry Demushkin was serving a sentence in a colony for distributing extremist content. He was sent to colony IK No. 2 in Pokrov, Vladimir Region. In 2019, he was released ahead of schedule due to the partial decriminalization of Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
