FSB detained two residents of Sevastopol on suspicion of spying for the SBU

Employees of the FSB of Russia have detained two residents of Sevastopol who are suspected of treason in the form of espionage in the interests of the SBU, the Center for Public Relations (CSP) of the Russian special service reported.
“The Federal Security Service stopped the illegal activities of two citizens of the Russian Federation suspected of committing high treason in the form of espionage in the interests of the Security Service of Ukraine,” – leads TASS message.
One of the detained men was recruited by the Ukrainian side back in 2016, and after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, he transferred to her for money data on the location of the objects of the Ministry of Defense, which could harm Russia’s security. In the summer of this year, he also recruited his acquaintance to work for the SBU, who collected and transmitted data on FSB facilities to Ukraine.
Earlier, at the end of November, the FSB reported prevention a series of terrorist attacks in the Zaporozhye region, which was prepared by three citizens of Ukraine on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. On October 13, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR reported that the special services of Ukraine were recruiting residents of the republic to participate in sabotage. Recruitment is mainly carried out using chat bots, the department explained.
