The Center for Public Relations of the FSB reported that the cause of the explosion in the border department of the agency in the Rostov region was the ignition of fuels and lubricants in the garage box.
Earlier, the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, said that the cause of the fire, according to the preliminary version, was the short circuit of the electrical wiring inside the building. Golubev also reported that the fire spread to containers with fuel and lubricants, which exploded.
The fire and explosion caused two walls to collapse.
