“From the bottom of my heart”: the humanitarian mission of “United Russia” unites people across the country

On the birthday of United Russia, December 1, warm meetings were held throughout the country. Party representatives talked to people who are involved in the humanitarian mission. Volunteers, activists, entrepreneurs and just residents – all together they are trying to help the residents of the newly annexed territories and the fighters involved in the NWO. Today, the movement has over 10,000 members. In the central executive committee of the party, such a meeting was held by Party Chairman Dmitry Medvedev and Secretary of the General Council Andrey Turchak.

During the opening of the meeting, Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the party’s volunteer activities were especially active during the pandemic, and were further expanded during the NWO.

“All of you are trying to do everything in your power to the best of your ability to help those who need it. I want to sincerely thank you for your sensitivity, sincere generosity, for all your good deeds. I hope that you will continue to help people, thereby fulfilling the high mission of serving our Fatherland,” Medvedev addressed the audience.

Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak said that United Russia, together with volunteers, public figures, representatives of business and the public sector, has been helping people, military personnel, fighters of the People’s Militia of the LDNR, and the Armed Forces since the first days of the SVO. And he does it from the bottom of his heart.

“To the teams that you represent, representatives of public organizations, the volunteer movement – once again a low bow for this,” said the Secretary of the General Council.

You don’t have to look far for examples of this help. Those gathered at the meeting each contribute their own. Someone is collecting humanitarian supplies, someone is helping to buy equipment for the fighters. For example, Tatyana Khodych, a participant in the volunteer movement in Moscow, whose son is now participating in the SVO, not only accompanies trucks with humanitarian aid, but also organizes concerts for military personnel, including in hospitals.

“In one such performance, a fighter invited me to dance. The guy after severe mine-explosive wounds. Helped him to stand up, danced a little. And in the end we agreed that by my next visit we would definitely dance with him, and not just one dance.

I am the mother of two sons. But it so happened that the Lord gave me two more sons. These are twin brothers, warriors, Sergey and Denis. I met them in Donetsk. We decided that I would be their godmother. I want to wish that all our boys, all our husbands, fathers, brothers, return alive, healthy, unharmed. And we will help to forge this Victory for them,” Khodych said.

Yulai Muratov, the chairman of the regional public organization “Marine Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan”, a participant in the project of the Center for Association of Civil Initiatives “United” presented an excellent idea. He suggested creating, under the auspices of United Russia, regional awards for those who help in the NVO zone.

Individual entrepreneurs from the Rostov region Lidia Nikitchenko and Yana Savelyeva created a group in social networks “Help to the Mobilized”. In just a day, they collected 300 thousand rubles and bought everything necessary for the mobilized, undergoing training near Novocherkassk.

“At the moment, more than 1.5 million rubles have been collected, 110 soldiers of our district have been dressed. We realized that spiritual help is also needed, and our women baked pies. People in small areas want to help. We bought wool, grandmothers knit socks, warm clothes. The children wrote letters. Together, deputies, United Russia, ordinary people can cover more needs on the front line,” they said.

“I want you to distribute a piece of yourself and your attitude to the world around us, to our country, to our servicemen, to their families, to everyone with whom you communicate. Charged them, supported. Because Victory is created not only by weapons and the economy. Victory is created by the power of the spirit. Here you have it,” concluded Party Chairman Medvedev.

“A meeting with volunteers is an appropriate and adequate decision to choose an action on the birthday of United Russia. Volunteer activity, real involvement in the process of helping vulnerable groups of the population have always distinguished the party,” commented Dmitry Orlov, Director General of APEC.

Recall that from the first day of the special operation, United Russia has been providing comprehensive assistance to the residents of Donbass, those who remained in the LDNR and new regions, as well as fighters in the war zone.
