From September 1, schoolchildren in the border regions of Russia were offered remote work

In the Kursk region, in five districts at once – Belovsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky, Rylsky and Sudzhansky – the festive lines dedicated to the start of the academic year will be held remotely. Distant will enter into everyday school life for 1,334 children from nine schools and three of their branches located near the border with Ukraine.

Students of all other schools, and these are almost 119 thousand young people from Kursk, will sit at their desks the very next day after the September 1 celebrations. For them, the usual mode of study will remain with the usual school schedule, calls and breaks.

In the Belgorod region, students spent most of the last academic year remotely, studying from home using a computer. Classes were attended via video link. Charging and physical education exercises were also done without moving far from the training chair.

Many parents exhaled happily when the last bell rang in May, but already in the summer they began to ask the main question: what will the new school year be like?

Soon, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that educational institutions in the region began to prepare for full-time work. Some lessons will be held in a mixed format – some in person, some online. And in those institutions that are within a 20-kilometer zone from the border, classes, as before, will be conducted via video link.

Schools where classes will be held in person must comply with safety requirements. This includes the availability of equipped shelters, and possession of first aid skills, and knowledge of the rules of general anti-terrorist security. Therefore, on August 29, the Ministry of Education of the region reported that in Belgorod they were pasting the windows of schools and kindergartens with armored film.

122 educational institutions had to have time to take measures to ensure the safety of children before the start of the new school year. 52 schools and 70 kindergartens in Belgorod have already received more than 65 thousand square meters. m of special film.

In addition, as MK was told in the department, Belgorod parents can transfer their child to distance learning, even if the school works full-time.

“For this, parents only need to write an application at their school,” the ministry said. – Also, at any time, the student will be able to return to full-time education at the request of one of the parents.

In early August, all schools and kindergartens that will receive children in person were instructed to create shelters equipped with furniture, a first aid kit, water and backup lighting, and the staff was instructed to master practical first aid skills and knowledge of how to act in an emergency. Written consents were collected from parents and teachers for study and work in full-time format.

– We will study in a mixed format. Some of the lessons are in-person, some are remote, – a teacher from the city of Valuyki, which is regularly shelled, shared with MK. – There will be such lessons as physical education, technology, art and music online.

About the format in which the school assembly will take place on September 1, it became known about a week in advance. In some schools, the holidays will be held as usual: in the fresh air, with no limit on the number of guests. In one of the districts, the assembly will be held in person, but with a limit on the number of people: no more than 300 people.

Those schools that are located in the zone of 0-20 km from the border will hold their meetings remotely. However, an exception will be made for some schools – there the celebrations will be held in assembly and sports halls, at different times and with a break of 2-3 hours.

“We moved from Shebekino to Belgorod, since June we have been renting a two-room apartment for 23,000 rubles. per month, – Anna told MK, whose son goes (now, alas, not in the literal sense) on September 1 to the third grade. – In general, we like it here, we settled down normally. I work as a copywriter, remotely. I decided not to transfer my son to a new school, he stayed in Shebekinskaya, they will study remotely. And tomorrow we will have a lineup in an online format.”

– Have you already been told how the line will look like on September 1st online?

– While I don’t really imagine, we haven’t had this yet, but we were asked to dress up. Some kind of video will be shown to the children, congratulations… We will connect to the Sferum, this is a platform through VK.

In the Bryansk region, many schools will hold a solemn event on September 1 without restrictions. Governor Alexander Bogomaz spoke about this in more detail in his telegram channel.

In Starodubsky, Klimovsky, Pogarsky, Sevsky, Suzemsky and Trubchevsky districts, school meetings will be held in the usual format, with the exception of those educational institutions that are located in close proximity to the border. They will celebrate Knowledge Day remotely. Currently, the issue of distance and full-time education of students of these educational organizations is being considered.

At the request of parents, schoolchildren from the border regions can start classes in health camps and sanatoriums in the Bryansk region. According to the head of the region, a full-fledged educational process is organized there.

In Bryansk itself, the operational headquarters made the following decision: when organizing celebrations, rely on the number of schoolchildren. In institutions with fewer than 500 people, events will be held for everyone. In larger organizations, only first graders and eleventh graders will become members of the rulers.

For security reasons, universities will solemnly hold the Day of Knowledge only for freshmen.
