More than 150 athletes from the Pskov and Tver regions gathered for the ski race in Nevel. The head of the Nevelsk district, Oleg Mayorov, announced this in his telegram channel.
As the head of the municipality explained, the oldest participant in the competition is 71 years old, and the youngest is 5.
Oleg Mayorov emphasized that despite the weather conditions, the organizers were able to save the track and prepare it for the starts.
“The excitement and rivalry of skiers, the pride and worries of coaches, the excitement and support of fans gave all participants a bright, beautiful, sports holiday!” – added the head of the municipality.
