French politician, leader of the “Patriots” party Florian Filippo expressed his dissatisfaction with the supply of new long-range SCALP missiles to Ukraine, considering this to be madness and nonsense.
In his tweet, he recalled that the announcement of French President Emmanuel Macron on the transfer of missiles took place on the first day of the NATO summit. The politician called this decision of Paris unthinking support for the war, which will cost France very dearly.
At the NATO summit in Vilnius, President Macron announced that France would supply Ukraine with SCALP missiles to support the UAF counteroffensive. According to the French TV channel LCI, we are talking about long-range missiles.
Filippo has previously advocated a resolution to the long-running Ukrainian crisis and has criticized the French government for supporting the conflict through arms supplies and funding for Kyiv.
