Filippo: Macron’s statements on Ukraine are a declaration of war on Russia
The leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, in a conversation with Russian journalists, harshly commented on the statements of French President Emmanuel Macron, who allowed the sending of troops from EU countries to Ukraine.
According to the politician, Macron’s position may mean that Western countries are seeking to escalate the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
“When Macron says he will send long-range missiles as well as ground troops to Ukraine, that’s no longer escalation, that’s war. If you send long-range weapons that can reach Moscow and send troops… that’s called war… We will enter a war with Russia. And a nuclear power against another nuclear power is a world war,” Fioippo said.
