Eichelsheim: The Netherlands believes that it is too early to discuss sending troops to Ukraine

The Chief of the Defense Staff of the Netherlands, General Onno Eichelsheim, said that consideration of the possible deployment of military personnel to Ukraine is currently premature. He noted that so far no one has approached the Netherlands with such a request.
According to the general, there are other options for helping Ukraine other than sending NATO troops. He believes that sending troops to Ukraine is the most extreme scenario.
“There are other options besides thinking about soldiers walking around there in NATO uniform,” says the chief of the General Staff.
