A full box. The five boats entered on Wednesday have all passed the first qualifying stage. Eugénie Dorange and Axelle Renard in the women’s 500 meters C2 in particular brilliantly qualified directly for the A final by taking second place in their race.
For the others, however, it will be necessary to go through the semi-finals. If the place in the final will be complicated to get for Manon Hostens in K1 women and for the C2 men (Adrien Bart, Loïc Leonard) over 500 meters (all 5th in their series), all hopes are allowed for kayakers in K4 men and Francis Mouget in K1 since they respectively took 3rd and 1st place in their race over the same distance.
The Canoe-Kayak Sprint and Paracanoe Worlds take place until Sunday in Halifax, Canada. On Thursday, four boats and two paracanoes will be racing on the French side.
