The village of Aginsky will host the first freestyle wrestling tournament in memory of the hero of Russia Aldar Tsydenzhapov, who died during a fire on the combat destroyer Bystry. This was reported on September 21 in the press service of the administration of the Aginsky Buryat district.
The competitions will take place on September 23 and 24 at the Burghed sports complex. Boys and girls born in 2006 and older from Zabaikalsky, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, Republics of Sakha (Yakutia) and Buryatia, Irkutsk and Amur regions will take part in the tournament.
The competitions are timed to the day of memory of the Hero of Russia Aldar Tsydenzhapov and the Transbaikalians who died in the line of military and official duty, as well as the 85th anniversary of the founding of the ABO.
Aldar Tsydenzhapov is a 19-year-old native of the Aginsky Buryat District, who in 2010, at the cost of his life, saved 300 people and the burning combat destroyer Bystry.
