The Ministry of Health of the Perm Territory has stopped purchasing a vaccine against coronavirus infection. This was reported by a local portal “New Companion” with reference to the regional Ministry of Health. Thus, free vaccination is no longer provided in the region.
According to officials, the current situation with the spread of COVID-19 does not require a mass vaccination campaign, as was the case in past years. Now those wishing to undergo vaccination or revaccination can do so for a fee in private clinics.
As of September 11, 138 cases were recorded in the Kama region. In total, during the pandemic, 475,996 cases of infection were recorded in the region, of which 9,363 were fatal. All restrictions in force in the region due to the COVID-19 pandemic were officially lifted at the end of May 2022.
