Ukrainian scammers lured three million rubles from a Northern Military District veteran from Gorlovka, for the return of which they demanded that the ballot box be filled with green paint, the press service of the FSB Directorate for the DPR reported.

It is clarified that the man turned to law enforcement agencies when he realized that they were trying to push him to commit a real crime.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, warned that all those detained for damaging ballots in the Russian presidential elections will not escape responsibility. If their connection with TsIPsO and the SBU is revealed, then the violators will face criminal liability.
