The terrorist attack at Crocus intensified phishing mailings from scammers

The Crocus City Hall Telegram channel reported that scammers began pretending to be victims after the terrorist attack.

As representatives of the concert hall clarified, attackers on behalf of Crocus intensified a phishing mailing to raise money to help those who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack.

“We are not doing any fundraising. Do not subscribe to fake accounts and communities on social networks. All reliable information is published on our official pages on social networks and the website,” noted Crocus representatives.

Among other things, scammers send fake messages in which they invite users to perform various illegal actions for a reward. According to experts, such actions are attempts to sow fear and put pressure on the psyche of citizens.
