France refused to host the Fencing World Cup stage due to the admission of Russians

The French Fencing Federation has canceled the stage of the World Cup among fencers due to the admission of the Russian team to the competition. Earlier fencing tournaments were canceled in Germany, Finland and Denmark. The stage was scheduled for 19–21 May at Saint-Maur-de-Fosse near Paris.
How reported on the website of the organization, the French Fencing Federation refused to hold the cup because of the possible participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in it.
The International Fencing Federation banned Russian and Belarusian fencers from participating in international competitions in March 2022 following the recommendation of the International Olympic Committee.
March 10 this year edition Insidethegames referring to the decision of the extraordinary congress, the organization reported that athletes from Russia and Belarus could be allowed to compete in fencing. After that, teams from four countries decided not to hold the competition.
