France is finalizing a new package of EU sanctions against Russia

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, during her speech at a meeting of the National Assembly, said that the preparation of the next package of EU restrictive measures against Russia had entered the final stage.
According to her, the French authorities are striving to ensure that the adoption of a new package of European sanctions passes promptly.
“The next package of EU sanctions should be completed in the coming days … France and the European Union are conducting an unprecedentedly tough sanctions policy against Russia, where 1,200 individuals and more than 100 companies are already under sanctions,” the minister said.
