French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu stated that there is no data that would allow us to talk about the connection of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow with Ukraine. This was announced on Wednesday, April 3, by the press service of the French defense department.

The comment followed a telephone conversation between Lecornu and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The French politician expressed condolences over the tragedy at Crocus.

At the same time, Lecornu emphasized that Paris does not have any information about the connection between the terrorist attack at Crocus and Ukraine.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin emphasized that it is necessary to identify not only the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, but also “all links in the chain of ultimate criminal beneficiaries”.

Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev said that immediately after the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, a massive telephone call was recorded from Russian emergency services from the territory of Ukraine. The callers spread false reports about mining of buildings – this fact “cannot be ignored”.
