France and Australia agreed to supply Ukraine with thousands of 155-mm NATO shells

According to AFP., Ministers of Defense of France and Australia, Sebastien Lecornu and Richard Marles, speaking at a joint conference, said that the countries had agreed to supply Ukraine with thousands of 155-mm NATO shells.
Lecornu specified that several thousand 155-mm shells would be jointly produced for these purposes.
According to Marles, this is a “multi-million dollar project involving a new cooperation between the defense enterprises of Australia and France.”
“The idea is to provide significant assistance to Ukraine and make continuous efforts to do so,” Lecornu said, adding that the first deliveries are expected during the first quarter of 2023.
