Four suspects in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, detained in the Bryansk region, were taken to the Investigative Committee of Russia. They are now under interrogation, the TASS state agency reports. According to him, the detainees were brought in paddy wagons.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks showing one of the alleged attackers being interrogated in a hospital bed. According to the investigation, all the attackers were foreigners and did not have Russian citizenship.
As one of the detainees said during interrogation, a man “without a name or surname” contacted him via Telegram, calling himself a “preacher’s assistant,” and offered him 500 thousand rubles. “kill people, no matter who.” The militants of the Islamic State (banned in Russia and recognized as terrorist) spoke about their involvement in the incident. At the same time, according to preliminary data from the investigation, the detainees were moving towards Ukraine, where a “window” was ready for them to cross the border.
In total, 11 people (including four direct perpetrators) were detained in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. The terrorist attack killed at least 133 people and injured 140.
