Four Russian gymnasts were admitted to the tournaments in a neutral status, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the publication of the website of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
Reportedly, Yana Lebedeva, Angela Bladtseva, Kirill Kozlov and Danila Kasimov received the appropriate permission. All these athletes perform in trampolining.
The FIG announced plans to begin allowing Russian and Belarusian athletes in a neutral status to international tournaments from January 1 back in July.
At the same time, Russian athletes received neutral status for the first time, while athletes from Belarus have already received 32 permits.
