The Football National League (FNL) has offered four Crimean sports clubs to pass certification, according to the results of which they will be able to take part in the Second League. Invitations were sent to FC Tavria (Simferopol), Sevastopol, Rubin (Yalta), Okean (Kerch).

From August to April, we did a lot of work on the analysis of infrastructure, legal issues, sports criteria, as well as financial. According to the UEFA decision, Crimean teams can only play in the regional championship. On August 22, 2022, the FNL announced the creation of an expert and analytical group that will review the readiness of Crimean professional clubs for integration. In response, UEFA stated that they did not allow Crimean clubs to play in the tournament under the auspices of the RFU. In April of this year, the RFU admitted that Crimean clubs could be included in the Second League without membership in the union.
