The composition of the Novosibirsk hockey club, thinned after care Nikolai Prokhorkin and Yegor Spiridonov, replenished with a new striker Maxim Marushev. This was reported by the team’s press service.
It is noted that the player will play for Siberia on loan from Ak Bars Kazan.
24-year-old Maxim Marushev, a graduate of Saratov’s Kristall, began playing professionally in Kazan. In the 2020/2021 season, he left for the United States to play for the Henderson Silver Knights in the AHL. He played there for two full seasons.
This season he returned to Russia and went to Traktor Chelyabinsk on loan from Ak Bars. At the beginning of the season, he spent a month recovering from the injury and returned to the ice in October, participating in 15 matches. Now the contract with Traktor has been terminated, Maxim is going to Novosibirsk.
Marushev is a fairly effective player: in 131 matches he scored 40 points (14+26). Won bronze at the Junior World Championships as part of the Russian national team.
In Siberia, the hockey player was assigned the number 93.
Earlier, MK in Novosibirsk reported that hockey “Siberia” lost to Omsk “Avangard” in overtime.
