Former Ukrainian deputy Tsarev remains in intensive care after an assassination attempt

Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev, who was assassinated, is still in intensive care. About it RBC Tsarev’s friend and journalist Alexander Chalenko said.
“If condition permits, [Царева] will be transported to Moscow… Is under heavy security of the FSB,” – told Chalenko.
The assassination attempt on Tsarev became known on the morning of October 27. The chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, said that the assassination attempt was carried out with shooting and clarified that the politician was in very serious condition. Later, the fact of the assassination was confirmed by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin. The administrator of the Telegram channel Tsareva said that the attempt was committed around midnight on the territory of a sanatorium in Crimea.
The FSB of Russia opened a criminal case under Art. 277 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attack on the life of a state or public figure). The Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, also ordered to initiate a criminal case.
Oleg Tsarev was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of several convocations from 2002 to 2014. In 2012-2014 served as adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. He ran for president of Ukraine, but in May 2014 he withdrew his candidacy. That same year, Tsarev left the country and began living and working in Donbass. The politician is involved in several criminal cases in Ukraine.
