The 2022-2023 season was a breakthrough for one of the youngest and most progressive football clubs in Moscow. The Rodina football club rose from the Second League and immediately began to show phenomenal results at the first division level. At first, “Rodina” took a place in the second half of the standings, and in the spring the club from Moscow made a breakthrough, which allowed it to take part in the play-offs for the right to participate in the Mir-RPL. There Rodina lost on aggregate to Paris NN. Rodina achieved all its successes under the leadership of Dmitry Parfenov.
Rodina spent the current season weaker and no longer had any claims to qualify for the Mir-RPL. In October, “Rodina” fired Dmitry Parfenov from the post of head coach and for almost 1.5 months the experienced specialist remained unemployed.
On December 1, it became known that Dmitry Parfenov headed the Aktobe club from the Kazakhstan Championship. Let us remind you that Dmitry previously headed the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik for three years, but did not achieve success at the helm of the red-blacks. Parfenov was unable to bring Tekstilshchik to the First League, becoming only a winner in the West group.
