Former State Duma deputy Adrian Puzanovsky died at the age of 82 on October 21, reported Vice Speaker of the Lower House Sergei Neverov in his Telegram channel.

“On October 21, Adrian Puzanovsky passed away,” he wrote.

Neverov added that Puzanovsky was a deputy of the first three convocations of the State Duma, representing the interests of residents of the Kostroma region. He was elected to the third convocation of the State Duma from the People’s Deputy group.

Puzanovsky was born in the Moldavian SSR, defended his doctorate in economic sciences, was a professor at the Department of World Economics at the Russian State Technical University (which was affiliated with the Plekhanov Russian Economic University), and also headed the department at the Kostroma Agricultural Institute.
