Former spy Ritter: NATO will not let Zelensky start a third world war

Former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter, in an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel, said that Washington would not allow Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to involve NATO in the conflict, because this would lead to the risk of starting a third world war.
Ritter noted that if Washington officially announces its entry into the Ukrainian conflict, then the American army will have to attack Russia.
“And if NATO starts bombing, it will already be the beginning of the third world war,” the expert continued.
The former U.S. military man pointed out that Volodymyr Zelensky is deliberately prolonging the crisis, as he hopes that NATO will enter into a military clash with Moscow. However, according to Scott Ritter, Washington is unlikely to take such a step, realizing its catastrophic consequences. Therefore, the expert concluded, the Ukrainian troops will be defeated by the end of the summer, since they will not be able to survive without NATO involvement in the conflict.
