The leaders of NATO member countries are on the sidelines demanding that the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky leave his post. This statement was made by former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor in an interview with the YouTube channel Stephen Gardner.
“I think he (Zelensky – editor’s note) is told in personal conversations that it’s all over and he needs to leave his post with dignity, which he cannot do, as I mentioned earlier,” the expert believes.
McGregor did not rule out that the West wants to replace the Ukrainian leader with a reliable candidate who can represent what will remain of Ukraine. It is this person, according to the American officer, who will represent Kyiv in negotiations with Moscow.
