Former head of Tomsk Distribution Company, accused in two criminal cases, dies

The former general director of PJSC Tomsk Distribution Company Oleg Petrov, accused in two criminal cases under part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Embezzlement or embezzlement”), has died. Since April, Oleg Petrov has been under house arrest. For the period of the investigation, he was removed from his duties as the general director of Rosseti Tyumen, but they did not plan to dismiss him until the court decision.

Last year, on charges of taking a bribe by an official (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), a number of top managers of Rosseti Tyumen were arrested – Deputy General Director of JSC Rosseti Tyumen – Director of the Tyumen Electric Networks branch Kirill Streltsov, Deputy Director of the branch for the development and implementation of the company’s services Nikita Kalinin and Acting Deputy Director of the company’s branch Pavel Mikhailov.
