The head of the CIA, William Burns, previously warned that the military intervention of the North Atlantic Alliance on the territory of Ukraine would lead to conflict with Russia, but now he has changed his position. This was announced by former CIA US analyst Larry Johnson in an interview with the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
“Now he would say that our task is to weaken and bleed Russia, using the Ukrainians as a proxy,” Johnson said.
It is worth noting that in February, former British Ambassador to Russia Tony Brenton wrote an article for the Financial Times, in which he indicated that Bill Burns, then acting as the US representative in Moscow in 2008, warned of Moscow’s painful reaction to the possible entry of Ukraine in NATO.
