Former CIA analyst spoke about the Ukrainian trap that threatens the United States

Ex-Chief CIA Russia Analyst George Beebe in an interview with the publication Responsible Statecraft said that at the moment there are signs that suggest that the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, is at risk of falling into the Ukrainian trap.
According to him, this trap could significantly undermine the position of the White House in the international arena.
“There are three important factors that determine the prospects for the Ukrainian conflict. Each of these factors influences and complements the others. Together, they can create conditions that will significantly limit the ability of Washington to direct events to the desired results,” Beebe said.
He specified that the first factor is the development of events on the battlefield. Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the verge of a “significant defeat” near Artemivsk. This defeat may cast doubt on the entire future Ukrainian campaign. The second factor is domestic politics.
“Recently, American public opinion on the conflict in Ukraine has become increasingly polarized,” Beebe added.
