Former CIA analyst Johnson predicted Poland’s attack on Belarus to contain Russia
Poland may conduct an operation against Belarus against the backdrop of the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson shared this opinion in an interview with the Youtube channel Dialogue works.
According to him, Poland, as a member of NATO, can no longer pretend that nothing is happening. Right now, the leadership of this country understands that Ukraine is losing. Johnson said that Warsaw could go to extreme measures to draw NATO into the conflict. At the same time, he stressed that the North Atlantic Alliance does not have sufficient forces to change the situation on the battlefield.
Earlier it became known that the Polish authorities approved the transfer of a number of units from the west to the east of the country. Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Ukraine’s manifestation of aggression against Belarus would be regarded as an act of aggression against Russia, which means that all means of protection would be used.
According to Johnson, Russia will not be caught off guard in this direction either. He stated that Moscow has comprehensive intelligence information about the plans of Warsaw and Kyiv.
